1 Corinthians 13:5a

“…If you have love, then you will apply the golden rule that Jesus has taught you to unto others…”
Love does not behave itself unseemingly means it does not misbehave or act rudely. He or she is not someone who does not care for other’s feelings.
Have you ever encountered someone who says whatever he feels like saying or does whatever he wants, without any thought for anyone? When you ask him, “Why do you do that?” His response is, “Well, this is the way I am. I have the right and freedom to say and do what I want.” People who behave themselves like that, only think and care about themselves and not others. Such people have no love for others!
Dear children, remember Jesus taught us, Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. In other words, we should treat others how we want them to treat us. The motivation behind Jesus’; teaching was love not self-interest. Do you want people to be polite, gentle, kind and generous to you? Love does not behave itself unseemingly, or without any care or thought for anyone. If you have love, then you will apply the golden rule that Jesus has taught you to unto others what you would want them to do unto you.
