1. From now on, all media team members will use personal accounts to access Notion.
Given the growing number of people interacting with the church’s Notion workspace, we’d like to better manage permissions for each individual. I will change the password for the [email protected] account, so, as soon as you can, please log out of this account, and either create a new account using an email and custom password, or log in to Notion using an existing Google email address. Once you’ve done so, please send your account’s email address to this chat or directly to myself, and I’ll add you as an “Editor” to the Transcription Team page. you will still be able to view the church’s Notion workspace, but you won’t be able to edit it.
2. We will no longer post screenshots of our sermon transcripts to our YouTube channel.
While we can’t exactly gauge our YouTube followers’ perception of our community posts, we do believe that they may eventually (if they haven’t already) become repetitive, as they might’ve been in our Whatsapp community. So we’ve decided to stop posting these regularly on our channel. We may, however, post a screenshot every now and then, if we find something we believe to be quite special, so you are welcome to send a snippet to us once in a while if you are moved to share it with our followers.
3. Please help us write a short 5-10 sentence description of our sermons for our YouTube publishers (Sanjana and Elyse) to add to the description box of our videos.
As the person most familiar with any given sermon due to your proofreading it, we think you’ll be best suited to coming up with a brief on that sermon to encourage potential viewers to listen to it properly. We understand that writing might seem daunting, so we encourage you to take advantage of ChatGPT’s linguistic abilities (once again) by asking it to generate hooks, questions, phrases and sentences for you to use in your descriptions. A much more complete guide to how to approach this task is provided in both our newest transcription tutorial video, as well as the “YouTube Descriptions” page, both linked below.

NOTE: The first sermon that we will need a description for, will be this coming Sunday’s sermon (proofreader: Susanna). As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, especially regarding description writing!
