1 Corinthians 13:7d

“…in order to pass the test, we have to endure…”
Love endureth all things (1 Corinthians 13:7d).
The word endureth means an intense bearing. Our love is going to be tested, and in order to pass the test, we have to endure.
Our love is going to be tested in very difficult circumstances, people, persecution, hostility, suffering and all kinds of trials and tribulations. It is easy for one to say, “I love,” in good circumstances, but it is another thing when he or she loves despite being in an adverse situation.
Dear children, do you remember the story of Joseph who was betrayed by his brothers who later sold him to slavery? He was almost killed, thrown into prison, forgotten and suffered greatly. But despite all that, he forgave his brothers. Ultimately, the perfect example is our Lord Jesus who came to save His people from their sins, and yet they rejected, persecuted, mocked, and eventually crucified Him on the cross of Calvary. However, while Jesus hung on the cross, He cried out to His heavenly Father to forgive the very people who had done those great atrocities to Him. That is an excellent example of what it means “love endureth all things.”
